DJ Spinarak is in the house! Not a bad career choice for the Pok\u00e9mon, given how it gets to use all those legs to its advantage. There&#8217;s a noticeable amount of red in the painting, particularly around the fangs of all those Spinarak. And those smiles upon their back don&#8217;t look all that inviting. The green colours work well with each other and the leaves have some detail to them as well, but you can see that the artist got the number of legs wrong, and they do appear to be a touch wonky. A neat pairing of two different spider Pok\u00e9mon. An easy idea for a parody, but an amusing one nonetheless. It has an amusing expression and unfortunate pose, and the Caterpie doesn&#8217;t seem very understanding about the trouble it&#8217;s causing.\u00a0<\/span><br style=\"color: #222222;\" \/><br style=\"color: #222222;\" \/><strong style=\"color: #222222;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fanfiction.net\/s\/3319648\/1\/Arachnophobia\" target=\"_blank\">Arachnophobia<\/a><\/strong><br style=\"color: #222222;\" \/><br style=\"color: #222222;\" \/><em style=\"color: #222222;\">By LordoftheJynx<\/em><br style=\"color: #222222;\" \/><br style=\"color: #222222;\" \/><span style=\"color: #222222;\">A horror one-shot. The gist of the story is that Spinarak kidnap children. Whatever could go wrong?&#8230;oh wait. The story does well in slowly increasing a sense of dread as the story continues, and there&#8217;s some nice description too. Unless you&#8217;re being kidnapped. And it even comes with an environment as well! The image is taken from the undergrowth which is a nice position for the situation. Here Ariados stare down a family of Chikorita. A giant Ariados features here &#8211; those legs look more like stilts here, which just makes the Pok\u00e9mon seem even more menacing. There&#8217;s some nice colouring work here too. I suppose even Ariados like river banks. It&#8217;s very well drawn too to be fair, and there&#8217;s very nice shading employed here. Here the majority of the picture is just blank space save for a couple strands of web, which helps the two Pok\u00e9mon here stand out all the more. There&#8217;s really some beautiful colours here, but that&#8217;s the least of the Beautifly&#8217;s worries. Look at the poor thing. Not sure what a Spinarak would be doing on a beach or desert, but it doesn&#8217;t look very happy about it. The way the legs are drawn and the body hunched over like that make this a rather aggressive pose as well, and certain attention grabbing. With retro sparkle effects to boot! This looks really nice in my opinion with the clean colouring, and if you look closely the lineart is in different colours as well. The artist drew this after catching a shiny Spinarak. This Ariados looks rather realistic with the fair on its legs and body, as well as the eyes. This is one of them. The legs are quite pointy of the Ariados, and clearly makes it stand out from its children.
